Quarter Horses & Kelpies

John and Sue fell in love with
foundation quarter horses… we think they are the perfect combination of beauty,
grace, and work ethic. We use them with cattle, pleasure, and trips to the
mountains and they are bred for roping, barrels, cutting, and ranch work. These
colts reflect the best of the breed: cat-quick athletes, gentle, trainable disposition,
beautiful head with large kind eyes, strong bone, big hips, and cowy. Expect
them to be over 15 hands with the right balance of muscle and grace… heavy
enough to rope, light enough to be easy riding, and gentle enough for kids. When you’re in the
Tri-Cities, give us a call and will show you the difference “foundation” can
make.
We're also excited about Beau and
Bell, our two Australian Kelpie Stock Dogs. We have pups periodically so if
you're interested check with us.
Most recently we teamed up with my
brother Jess in Ryegate, MT=. We're breeding mares in Montana and raising the colts on the range
so they get lots of exercise. At 2 or 3 I break them in Ryegate or at home in
Kennewick and put some real polish on them for
reining. Colts we sell, flex, side pass, back, lope figure 8's and pick up the
right lead load, shoe... and love people. We'll have the ability to tailor the training to the
horse and the prospective owner. Watch for our ad in Western Horseman.
